Last evening the stars were stupendous!
I am often blessed to spend time in places that have very clear skies and last evening was magical. When I stepped out onto my upper deck, I couldn’t help but stare into the deep trenches of the magical sky. I was beyond mesmerized by a depth that could only be described as forever.
I remember as a child trying to grasp the concepts of infinity and forever. They were both introduced to me in religion class and my simple brain just couldn’t comprehend the God descriptions like eternal, infinite and all powerful. I am still not sure that my adult brain is up to this task, however it is certainly a gift to look up into the sky and experience what appears to be a physical reflection of these words.
So when the nighttime sky invites me to look beyond what I can see with my limited perception, I often release my ideals and dreams into another realm.
A realm where infinity and forever seem to be commonplace, and where Divine Love, Wisdom and Creation are housed among the stars.
