The Mask of Life…

Today I sit in Silence.
I stare at both sides of the Mask of Life.
My thoughts on violence, anger and revenge fill me with sorrow and pain…
Enough I say, and then I turn my face to its brighter side.
I start to transform my unhappy thoughts.
They become arrows pointing towards my heart’s desires.
They point to a vision of the world where people of all nations are living in
Peace, Respect and Harmony.
My newly focused mind becomes clear.
I begin to see my sorrow and pain as a gateway to my dreams.

Could it be true that
“ALL THAT I DO NOT WANT, IS THE OTHER SIDE OF ALL THAT I DO WANT?”
Is it possible that my sadness is not in vain, but rather helps to define what is truly important to me?” Could this be another meaning of “turning one’s cheek?” Could the other side of darkness be the beginning of light?

For all of these answers, I return to sitting in Silence!
