For me, there is a magic to the first snow fall.
My whole being is enlivened when billions and trillions of wintery crystals fall upon the earth. I celebrate Nature’s creativity, as she teaches us that even in the darkest of times we too can figure out how to bring light into the world.
For me, this lesson from Nature is the basis of many Christmas traditions; traditions that echo the story of using light to transform darkness; traditions that remind us that it is up to us to use our own efforts to bring beauty and light into an otherwise darkened world.
Thus, I celebrate Magic of Christmas!
The Magic that occurs when friends and families work together to decorate, bake cookies and bring beauty and light into their homes and neighborhoods.
I celebrate the Magic that happens when people unite their voices to bring the magnificent sounds of Christmas carols to the otherwise silent and darkened streets.
I celebrate the Magic that happens when
friends and families gather to share the Love in their hearts.
And I celebrate the special Magic that happens when millions of Christians
gather together to remember the message of Christ’s birth…
A message that reminds us that we too are here to
“Light up the World!”
