“Beauty In all forms is a reflection of Me…”
These words were written by the 14th Century poet Rumi to describe the incredible connection between beauty and what many of us call God.
Assuming that this is true, we need not wonder why it is so important to spend time in nature. For me, whether it is by the sea, in the mountains or in the garden, the power of natural beauty is so enticing that I have often referred to it as my addiction!
However, what if this type of beauty is only a teaser, and what if our real calling is to find beauty in every aspect of life? Then would we actualize these words of Rumi,
“you have won the power now to gaze at My Essence”!
Written below is the full text from which these quotes are taken.
If you have time, enjoy this pondering!
THE ORIGIN
“At the time of separation, Love creates imaginary forms
When Union arrives, the Formless One appears,
Saying “I am the Origin of the origin of sobriety and wine;
Beauty in all its forms is a reflection of Me.
Now , this moment, I withdraw all veils to reveal Beauty’s final splendor,
without any intermediary.
For so long now you have been busy with my reflection-
You have won the power now to gaze at My Essence alone.”
