Cheers to Nature and to Her Seasonal Cycles!
Such a gift She gives to Her animal kingdom by linking their adaptive behaviors to changes in the Sun. From breeding, to birthing, to migrating, our 4 legged friends have many of their survival patterns responding to the timing of the Sun’s cycles. The Sun’s relationship to their behavior is so profound, that many animals give birth in the Spring so that they can raise their young during the Summer Season when the days are longer and food is more plentiful.
As members of the animal kingdom, we too are programmed to respond to the Seasons. Our cultures have evolved to adapt eating, dressing, living, and working patterns to respond to the Sun’s cycles. Additionally, our work and school schedules reflects the patterns of relaxed “family time” during the same months that our 4 legged friends are spending time raising their young.
And so before Summer 2023 comes to pass, I want to express my gratitude for
“All Things Summer”
and for the wonderful moments that we create by spending relaxing time with our Families and Friends.
