Spring is a season of magnificent beauty.
On the surface, the magical unfolding of the blossoms and flowers
seem to effortlessly appear.
And yet when we observe more closely, we find that numerous systems need to perfectly align in order to create a garden like the one pictured above. From the microbes in the soil, to angle of the sun, to rain water to soak the seeds, to a perfect temperature for growing; all of these systems need to work together in order for Nature to create her bursts of color, texture, and design. And for someone like me who regards Nature as a Master Teacher, there is also a great lesson here regarding how we are meant to live.
It seems that blooms and blossoms are like everything else in life, they do not “just happen” because of their own efforts. Rather, they teach us that
all of life is interconnected, and all of life is meant to function cooperatively. They visually demonstrate how magnificent life can be when various systems work in harmony.
If Nature could talk, I could hear Her say,
“Nothing blooms or evolves alone. EVERYTHING is part of a system, and NO system is independent of the other systems. EVERYTHING is interconnected, and the world is meant to work together like one big orchestra, where many parts harmonize to create the illusion of “One Sound”.
Such is a Lesson from Spring!
