Writing The Morning Muse…
My time for reflection
I love writing “the Morning Muses”!
It is my way to discipline myself to reflect on what is happening beneath
the surface of each day of my life.
It is a time for me to reflect on the Love and Beauty
of each moment, regardless of how the outside world may view things.
As many of you may have heard, last Thursday I suffered 2 left pelvic fractures, a broken tibia plateau, and last but not least a concussion. I was at Vail and was hit from behind by an unknown skier. It was a perfect ski day and little did I know what an amazing new life chapter I was about to begin. Please know that I plan to continue my regular Muses however some of my perspectives and subjects may change due to this situation. Thus I wanted to give you a “heads up” as to why you might find a few writings about subjects that might differ from my usual repertoire.
Also, I will frequently add a medical update for those of you who are asking. And so my friends, after a weeks stay in the Vail Hospital, I leave tomorrow for assisted living. I know that I am forever changed by the love and compassion that I experienced while there. From the stand point of “Lessons for the Heart” this has been a phenomenal week, and to this amazing staff and all of my family and friends who have reached out to me,
I am forever grateful!
